On September 28, the West Nipissing Police Service included a photograph of two women in their media release. The police were seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the women. The public responded and within a couple of days, the women were identified. Police are investigating a theft and want to speak to the two in relation to that incident. The investigation is ongoing.

The West Nipissing Police Service is investigating a mischief to heavy equipment. Police were called to a Quesnel Road work site where they learned that an excavator being used on the solar farm project had been damaged. The previous week the company was the victim of a theft. Police are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation.

On October 2, a Salter Street resident report damage to one of her windows. Police attended the residence and learned that the complainant was at home when an unknown man walked past her house and smashed the window with a stick.  The act was unprovoked in any way. The investigation is ongoing.
