Weaving all over the road sparks police interest

On Saturday, September 22, shortly before 12:30 p.m., a North Bay OPP officer responded to a report of a possible impaired driver that was driving all over the road on Highway 17 in North Bay.

Police located the vehicle and the officer spoke to the driver determining that she had consumed alcohol.  

As a result of the investigation Lindsey Anderson, a 32 year-old female from North Bay, was arrested and charged with:

  • Drive motor vehicle while ability impaired - alcohol, 
  • Drive motor vehicle - over 80 mgs. of blood alcohol, 
  • Drive motor vehicle while liquor readily available, and
  • Drive motor vehicle in contravention of conditions.

Anderson was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay, on October 9.
