MARCH 8, 2018 EDUCATION NIGHT

“Waterwise Gardening,” presented by Bonnie Cappadocia

Thursday, March 8, 2018

7:00 PM— 8:00 PM

Location:  North Bay Public Library, Auditorium

271 Worthington St. E., North Bay, ON, P1B 1H1

“With 45 years of experience in all areas of gardening, 20 years as a Heritage Gardener, and 10 years as a Master Gardener, I have given many gardening presentations, especially on organic gardening.  Water-wise gardening is my new passion.  After three years of figuring out how to reduce my water consumption in the garden, I have many ideas that could help you improve the growth and flowering of your plants.

For areas with lots of water like North Bay but ever-rising water bills, water-wise gardening can be a social and environmental statement, and we can save money too.  With climate change, we can expect more drought; therefore, we need to learn how to garden with less water not more.  This presentation will give lots of tips for watering your houseplants, containers, perennial s, annuals, vegetables, and lawns.” - Bonnie Cappadocia

This event is FREE and open to the PUBLIC!

Participants are asked to pre-register by noon by March 8, 2018 by calling 705 472-4006 or e-mailing [email protected]
