The final phase of construction on the Memorial Drive water main extension will begin November 28.
This phase of the project involves directional drilling along Memorial Dr. between Regina St. and Monk St. Once drilling is complete, City crews will complete connections to the existing water distribution network. The work is anticipated to take 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
During construction there will be periodic closures of Memorial Dr. between Regina St. and Monk St. however, detours will be in place to accommodate vehicle traffic. Local access will be maintained. The public is asked to exercise caution in and around construction zones.
The City will keep the public apprised of any required road closures.
