The Warriors of Hope, a resilient team of Breast Cancer Survivors making waves in Dragon Boat Racing, are actively seeking individuals to join their Board of Directors.

An opportunity to contribute beyond breast cancer awareness, the Warriors of Hope will host their Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. The venue is the 22 Wing Ayr Mess Hall, located at 14 Duxford Road, Building 14. Members of the public are cordially invited to attend.

"The Warriors of Hope, celebrated for their inspirational journey as breast cancer survivors turned Dragon Boat Racing champions, have emerged as role models not only in North Bay but wherever they compete," says a news release. "Having marked their 20th anniversary in 2019, the team received recognition from the prestigious North Bay Sports Hall of Fame. In 2022, they clinched the gold medal at the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia."
