Voyageur Cycling Route: Regional Community Consultations

North Bay, ON - The Voyageur Cycling Route Working Group in association with the Discovery Routes Trails Organization has retained MMM Group in association with the Tourism Company to evaluate the feasibility of implementing a cycling route between Sudbury and Deep River. The route will include a segment of the proposed Trans Canada Trail between Sudbury and Callander and be primarily on road.
The proposed trail will support local tourism, improve recreational opportunities and provide greater community connectivity along the corridor. The purpose of the Study is to evaluate these benefits, confirm the route alignment and outline the level of funding and partners necessary to move forward with implementation.
Community members are encouraged to attend any of the four community and stakeholder consultation events occurring along the route:
