A Virtual Art Auction is live with bids accepted until 11:59 p.m. on April 28th.
WKP Kennedy Gallery and Capitol Centre social media channels are featuring promotional material and artwork information. They will also provide links to the POP OF COLOUR auction website.
"We are greatly moved by the generosity of the donors who provided the artwork to us and for this unique fundraising opportunity. The funds raised from this virtual auction will help us to ensure that the Capitol Centre, including the WKP Kennedy Gallery, will continue to be North Bay's home for arts and entertainment," says Dan Misturada, Interim Executive Director, Capitol Centre.
"These are all one-of-a-kind pieces. Most are created by local artists, some by very recognizable established artists. A few pieces are created by emerging artists, which is the perfect way to start your very own original artwork collection. We are thrilled for these outstanding artworks to find their new homes!" says Alix Voz, Director/Curator, WKP Kennedy Gallery, Capitol Centre.
