A global initiative called16 Days of Activism calls for an end to gender-based violence.

It began in 1991 by Center for Women’s Global Leadership.

It begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and ends on December 10, the International Human Rights Day.

This year, Amelia Rising is running a social media campaign that will offer educational resources every day.
