Video shorts and animations aim to reduce sexual violence

A series of video shorts and animations produced locally for the purpose of creating awareness about the need to foster Consent Culture in our community.

Thursday, February 8, the Domestic Violence Community Coordinating Committee ( DVCCC) will be hosting the premiere of a series of video shorts and animations produced locally for the purpose of creating awareness about the need to foster Consent Culture in our community.

“Too many individuals are touched by sexual violence,” said (DVCCC) Chairwoman Kathleen Jodouin in a news release. “We need to end the current culture that supports such violence and replace it with positive messages that promote consent, respect, communications and community responsibility.”

This new series of video shorts is aimed at a young demographic and narrated in the first person by local youth.
