Vandals hit flower display

The flowers on the Georgian Bay side of the Seguin Bridge had been ripped out and thrown into the water.

OPP SEEKS PUBLIC’S HELP IN VANDALISM TO FLOWERS ON SEGUIN BRIDGE

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On August 11, 2016, the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised that the flowers had been ripped out of the hanging planters on bridge over Seguin Street in Parry Sound.

The flowers were hanging in the baskets at 7:00 am and at 8:30 a.m. the flowers on the Georgian Bay side of the Seguin Bridge had been ripped out and thrown into the water.

Police are investigating and would like the assistance of the public. Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for the vandalism should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-746-4225.
