The City of North Bay has finished uni-directional flushing (water main flushing) in the Queensway Rd., Veronica Dr. and Kingsway Ave. area.  Flushing will now begin in the Brennan St., Pearson St., and Graham Drive area, and then proceed to Seymour St., Progress Rd., Venture Crescent and Commerce Crescent area.

Flushing is anticipated to last from June 23 until approximately June 30, 2016.

Staff will be going block by block in the given areas and will inform Public Works Dispatch each day as to where they will be flushing and what areas will be affected.

Residents may experience low water pressure and/or cloudy water while the flushing is underway. Once the flushing stops water pressure will go back to normal and the cloudy water will dissipate.

We ask that motorists exercise caution when driving in areas where City crews are working/flushing water mains.

If you have any questions or concerns or just want to verify that the staff is flushing in your area, call Public Works Dispatch at 705-474-4340.
