A two year old girl is dead afer being struck by a buggy.
OPP say yesterday at approximately 5:53 p.m. officers from East Algoma and the Emergency Medical Services arrived at the area of Government Road in Plummer Additional Township, north of Bruce Mines for an unresponsive two year old girl.
For reasons unknown at this time, she fell out of a buggy and was subsequently run over.
She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators and OPP Forensic Identification Services are assisting with the investigation.
A post mortem is scheduled for the upcoming days.
