Here's a great reminder to be aware of your surroundings when getting money from those instant teller bank machines.
Orillia OPP say yesterday at approximately 11 p.m., they were contacted regarding a robbery.
Two women were inside a bank vestibule using the bank machine when they were approached by two men. One of the men used force to try to steal money from the victims.
The two ladies fought off the attackers causing them to flee the scene.
Several units immediately responded including the OPP Canine and Emergency Response Team.
The women provided a description of the suspects and police used video surveillance footage to identify both men.
Joshua Williamson, 28, from Orillia was arrested and held for a Bail Hearing. He has been charged with Robbery with a Weapon and Breach of Probation.
A second man, Jason Hart, 42 also of Orillia has been arrested and is being held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
Hart is currently facing charges of Robbery with a Weapon and Breach of Probation.
The victims were not injured.
