Members of District 43 & District 44 of the Retired Teachers of Ontario (RTO/ERO) recently planted 250 trees at a site north of the city of North Bay.
Under the direction of noted “Tree Planting Chief”, Henri Menard, the group began a three year commitment to plant trees to honour Canada’s 150th Birthday and the 2018, 50th Anniversary of the creation of RTO/ERO.
Tisdale Bus lines provided transportation and bus driver Mike Bedard, donated his time to ensure a safe journey for the group.
