Kirkland Lake OPP have charged a Kirkland Lake man with assaulting three officers.
The charges stem from a request from hospital staff for help with a violent male patient. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on November 3.
Three officers sustained injuries as a result of the attack and were all treated and released.
Charged is Tristan Hickey, 22, of Kirkland Lake with:
- Two counts of assaulting a Peace Officer,
- Resist a Peace Officer and
- Fail to Comply with a Probation Order.
Hickey was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
