Theft from boat

The investigation determined that sometime between 6 p.m. on August 20, to noon on August 21, suspect(s) peeled back the canvas cover.

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On August 21, 2016 members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified that unknown suspect(s) had entered a boat and stole articles at Hamer Bay Marina in Seguin Township. The investigation determined that sometime between 6:00 p.m. on August 20, 2016 to 12:00 p.m. on August 21, 2016 suspect(s) peeled back the canvas cover and took:

  • A red and white 48 inch long wake surfing board with black foot pads and star shaped emblems.

  • Two black neoprene body glove personal floatation devices with yellow body glove emblems.

  • A silver coloured metal wake board rack.

Investigation is continuing at this time. Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for the theft should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-746-4225.
