Local restaurants in Powassan, as well as a few patrons, will be competing in the 1st annual "Souper Bowl" Contest at the Powassan and District Union Public Library on Friday January 20th at 11 a.m.
The judges are noted North Bay owners and head chefs of White Owl Bistro, Laura and Rene Dubois.
The competition will be followed by a Soup Lunch at the monthly Lunch and Learn program, starting at 11:30 a.m.
It's all for fun, and a chance to win the Golden Ladle Award for 2017.
