The Municipality of Powassan is hosting a Summer Art Show and Sale on Friday, June 22 (6-9pm) and Saturday, June 23 at 250 Clark, Powassan's newly opened Community Hub.
Friday evening’s reception will feature local art as well as test-tasting from Copperhead Distillery and Spirits, in Sundridge.
The show and sale continue on Saturday (9-6pm).
The public is invited to watch the acrylic pour painting workshop happening Saturday morning from 9-11a.m. Local artist, Miranda Prior, will do a live art demonstration on Saturday afternoon.
Almost 50 local artists are participating.
"There’s something for everyone- woodworking, felted goods, jewelry, stained glass, cement garden art, and paintings of various mediums," according to a news release.
