St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School held its Academic Awards Night on Tuesday, June 12th, giving out more than $34,000.00 in Scholarships and Bursaries and over 300 Academic Awards.

The 2017-2018 Major Award winners were:

Student of the Year was Matthew McParland, who also walked away with an Honour letter, Distinguished Catholic Graduate Award and the Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario award.

Honour Letter winners were Mia Hubert, Hanna Schaefer, Leah Davis, Stephanie Wu and Zach Duval for all their contribution to SJSH over the years.

Hanna Schaeferand Payton McLeod were the Bishop Carter Leadership winners, while Leah Davis was the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award.

Zac Duval was the Dick Smith Volunteer Award winner and David Moore was the Lillian and Tom Harington Award Winner.

Kobe Seguin won the Principal’s award. 

Highest Academic Achievement winners were Carli Hemsworth for Grade 11, Jacob Szaranski Grade 10 and Gabrielle Russofor Grade 9.

Olivia Heintz-Gingras was the Vice Principal”s winner and the “Lucidus Astrum” or “Shining Star” award winners were Kylie Sullivan, Madison Ayers, Giulia Backer and Robbie Belislefor being overall outstanding students.
