Spooky downtown tours begin

Visitors will hear some of the Station’s creepiest stories before carrying on for a lamp lit tour of the downtown.

News Release: Discovery North Bay Museum will provide haunted walking tours of downtown North Bay beginning October 2nd. Tours will begin at Discovery North Bay Museum, in the former Canadian Pacific Railway Station.  Visitors will hear some of the Station’s creepiest stories before carrying on for a lamp lit tour of the downtown. The tour includes the historic Royal Theatre and the North Bay Court House. Recommended for ages 12+.
 
Visit Discovery North Bay Museum anytime between October 22nd and October 31st to see our “Haunted Museum” display.  All of our creepiest artifacts will be on display along with a series of “real” and “fake” stories.  Guess which stories are fake for a chance to win a museum membership providing free admission and great discounts all year round.
 
·      Haunted Hikes run every Friday in October at 6:30 pm or upon request for groups

·      The “Haunted Museum” runs from October 22nd-October 31:

o    10:00 am- 6:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday

o   10:00 am- 8:00 pm Friday October 23rd and 30th

o   8:30 am- 3:00 pm Saturdays

Cost:   $5.00 per person for admission or $6 for a guided haunted hike
