Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign has raised $53,088 for Community Living North Bay.

The 2019 Smile Cookie campaign raised a record $9.8m in just one week for 550 charities, hospitals and community groups across Canada.

For one week, from September 16-22, Tim Hortons customers raised millions of dollars buying chocolate chunk cookies decorated with blue eyes and an iconic pink smile for $1.

"The full $1 from each Smile Cookie sale will be donated to Community Living North Bay, and will be important in raising funds to continue to build access and inclusion in our community," said Sherry Carnevale, Executive Director, Community Living North Bay "Tim Horton’s has always been a leader and supporter to Community Living North Bay and has employed people with intellectual disabilities for many years."

A cheque presentation is being held on Tuesday, November 19 at 11 at Community Living North Bay 741 Wallace Road.
