The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is coming up this Sunday. Part of the event route will limit access to and from Memorial Drive for a short period of time
Set-up for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure will commence around 8 a.m. at the waterfront. Memorial Drive will be closed to traffic 10:30 am to noon, while the event is taking place. The Run commences at 11 and will end at approximately 12:30.
Last year’s Run raised a nationwide $30 million for breast cancer research and community health initiatives. This year hundreds of people will gather in North Bay, demonstrating the Run’s ability to unite a community in support of a shared cause to create a future without breast cancer.
