On Friday February 2, the Rotaract Club of North Bay - Nipissing is hosting the fourth annual Poutine, Pints and Plaid event at the Grande, sponsored by Rebuilt Resource, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Attendees are invited to sport their favourite plaid, dine on gourmet poutine and drink some of Cecil’s famous craft beer, or any other drink of choice, while dancing the night away.

“It’s an event that the community has become excited about,” said club president Val Edmunds. “Winter is long, and it’s colder than it has been in a long time. This event let’s attendees take a break from their winter blues, while helping a great cause.”

Doors open at 8 p.m., with games running until 10:00 pm and the DJ starting at 10:30 pm. Poutine starts at 9:30 pm, until 11 p.m., and cash bar open all evening.

Tickets are $35 and are available at the Alzheimer’s Society (347 Sherbrooke St #401), or by emailingmail@rotaractnbn.com.
