OPP say they were called to investigate an "unwanted person" on the morning of April 4th at a home on Cache Bay Road in Sturgeon Falls.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old person, from West Nipissing, was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual Assault,
- Criminal Harassment - repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct,
- Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence,
- Failure to comply with an undertaking,
The accused is being held in custody pending bail and was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice today in West Nipissing.
OPP say they will not be releasing the name of the accused in order to protect the identity of the victim.
