Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 190 calls for service and arrested and charged 15 people with the following offences:
- One person was charged with one count of mischief under $5000 and two counts of assault with a weapon;
- One person was charged with one count of flight while pursued by police officer under the Criminal Code and issued a part III summons under the Highway Traffic Act for use plates not authorized for vehicle and a part III summons under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act no insurance;
- One person was charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of domestic mischief, two counts of uttering threats and one count of assault with a weapon;
- Three people were charged with public intoxication under the Liquor Licence Act;
- One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5000 (shoplifting) and four counts of breach of probation;
- One person was charged with three counts of theft under $5000 (shoplifting) and one count of breach of probation;
- Three people were charged with theft under $5000 (shoplifting);
- One person was charged with domestic assault and domestic mischief under $5000;
- Two people were charged with domestic assault; and
- One person was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refuse to provide breath sample.
