The West Nipissing Police Services Board Chair Barry Bertrand was in attendance recently at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 225 meeting to present a donation.
The money is in support of the Legion’s fundraising efforts to purchase a new stove for the Branch.
The $700 donation put the Legion one step closer to their target of $10,000.
The Board uses funds from the proceeds of police auctions to support many worthwhile causes.
