Police arrest boss after employee forced to stay

A female employee had a verbal argument with her boss.

(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On October 24, members of the East Algoma OPP responded to a dispute at a restaurant between an employee and her boss in the City of Elliot Lake.

Shortly before 3 p.m., police learned that a female employee had a verbal argument with her boss.  The supervisor held the employee for 20 minutes in the store during the argument.

As a result, Dilip Patel, 26 years of age, from Elliot Lake, was arrested and charged with: Forcible Confinement.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on January 3, 2017.
