Over Labour Day weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 302 calls for service and arrested and charged 14 people with the following offences:
- One person was charged with one count of assault police officer, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- One person was charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of forcible confinement; and one count of utter threats to cause death or bodily harm;
- One person was charged with one count of assault;
- One person was charged with one count of criminal harassment;
- Two people were charged with one count of mischief under $5000;
- Five people were charged with public intoxication;
- One person was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and two counts of breach of Office in Charge undertaking;
- One person was charged with one count of domestic mischief and two counts of breach of probation; and
- One person was charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg of alcohol in blood.
