We often see people who are breaking the law in some way, get caught because they were speeding.

Here's one we haven't seen before.

On the afternoon of June 15, East Algoma OPP saw a vehicle speeding and subsequently conducted a traffic stop on Highway 108 in Elliot Lake.

The driver was identified with a valid driver's license, but could not produce the vehicle documents. While the driver was looking for documents, police spotted a person in the back seat trying to hide on the floor.

After questioning, it was learned that the passenger was currently on bail conditions. One of those conditions was not to be with the driver.

Police arrested and charged the passenger.

Jessie Lynn Fournier, 25,  of Elliot Lake is charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order - other than to attend court.

Fournier is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on August 4.
