NORTH BAY – $33,000 has been awarded through the Ontario Arts Council to local arts groups, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
Project grants include:
- $20,000 for the North Bay Symphony Orchestra through the Orchestras Projects program toward its 40th anniversary season of five concerts in 2016-17.
- $13,000 for Aanmitaagzi through the Aboriginal Artists in Communities program toward its Summer Arts Program for Aboriginal youth.
“These organizations are vital to the vibrant arts and culture community we’re fortunate to have in Nipissing. My congratulations and thanks go out to them,” said Fedeli.
