On December 27, 2016, at around 11:30 p.m., members of the Sault Ste. Marie OPP were called to a collision involving a snowmobile on Echo Lake Road.
The investigation determined that 55-year-old Gregory CORRAN from MacDonald-Meredith-Aberdeen Additional Township was killed when the snowmobile he was driving lost control and struck a tree.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team was called in to assist with the investigation. A post-mortem examination is expected to be completed in the coming days.
The investigation is continuing.
