(LAURIER TWP, ON) On Saturday November 8, 2014 the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a single vehicle collision that occurred on Forestry Road, Laurier Township at approximately 3:50 p.m. OPP attended the collision and discovered a single vehicle, a Dodge pickup truck in the ditch.
Police searched the area, but were unable to locate a driver or any passengers that may have been in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen earlier from a Link Lake Road, Laurier Township residence.
OPP are continuing to investigate and any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.”
