(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 22, 2014 the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic assault incident in Parry Sound.
Investigation revealed that a couple spent the evening drinking at both a private residence and a local establishment. When they returned to the private residence an argument ensued where the male was allegedly assaulted by the female.
A 31 year old female was arrested and charged with assault contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The female was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on December 4, 2014.
