2015 Highlights for the City of North Bay

The Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund(OMPF) is the Province's main transfer payment to municipalities. In 2016, the Province will provide a total of $505 million in unconditional funding to 388 municipalities through the OMPF.

  • The City of North Bay's combined benefit of the 2015 OMPF and provincial uploads totals $19,311,500 which is the equivalent of 27% of the City's municipal property tax revenue.
  • The City's combined benefit includes:
    • - $7,357,700 through the OMPF
    • - $11,953,800 benefit resulting from the provincial uploads
  • This exceeds the City's 2014 combined benefit by $395,900 and payments received in 2004 by $2,700,500.
