Noted canoeing author Hap Wilson will be signing his new book and entertaining guests with stories of his canoeing and trailblazing across Canada at the Indigenous Friendship Centre on Friday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m.
Best known for his guides books on Temagami, the Missinaibi River, and other great Canadian canoe routes, his newest book details his exploits on the Seal River during a forest fire.
Friends of La Vase Portages are hosting the evening and an update on this summer’s plans for the historic Voyageur route will be shared as well.
