Mayor Matthew Shoemaker will be hosting the mayors and chief administrative officers of North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins at a Northern Ontario Large Urban Mayors (NOLUM) meeting on Monday, May 27, at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre in Sault Ste. Marie.
Agenda items for the meeting feature topics of shared concern including funding a new deal with the Government of Ontario, physician recruitment, labour force development and the mental health and addictions crisis.
The Mayors will also participate in a panel discussion for TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin.
