North Bay man faces domestic assault charge

Following an investigation into a report of a domestic assault, North Bay Police arrested a 37-year old North Bay man early this morning and charged him with one count of assault.

 

It is alleged that shortly after midnight this morning (16 July 2015) the accused physically assaulted his female partner following an argument that took place in their residence. The victim was able to remove herself from the situation unharmed and call police who responded immediately.

 

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing today.

 

In order to protect the identity of the victim, the North Bay Police Service will not be releasing the name of the accused.
