More than just a "Plant Manager" Mike McNeil sees the investment by Longyear in the gardens as a small way of returning something to the community, to make what would otherwise be just a manufacturing facility, add some colour to the neighbourhood.

While Maintenance Manager Terry Houston is the person responsible for the gardens, most of the planting and weeding is provided by Diana Goodwin with Gardens by Goodwin.

Our "Tip of the Trowel" to Boart Longyear for making the extra effort to make North Bay look great."
