The motorcycle ride is being held in North Bay on Saturday June 18.

North Bay 2016— North Bay’s Motorcycle Ride for Dad will host their 5th Annual Car Wash and Barbeque at the MacEwen Gas Bar parking lot on Algonquin Avenue on Saturday June 11, 2016 @ 10:00am. The carwash and barbeque mark  the last leg of their nine week fundraising initiative to gather support and pledges for their motorcycle ride being held in North Bay on Saturday June 18,  2016.

Our team of volunteers will be on hand along with representatives from the North Bay Police Service, Telus Northgate and Rogers Radio 101.9 Rock to wash cars and raise some much needed monies towards Prostate Cancer research.

The wonderful staff from Burger World on Algonquin will be on hand to barbeque great tasting hamburgers and hot dogs with all proceeds going towards the cause.

“Prostate cancer is a needless killer for men,” said Raymond Yelle, co-chair of the Nipissing chapter. “The more the community is aware and educated about prostate cancer, the less chance there is to lose the men in our lives to this terrible disease. The Motorcycle Ride for Dad not only raises funds to fight this disease, but it also gives men and their families a reason to talk about it”.

The day will begin at 10:00am and will go rain or shine. Come out and get your car washed for a donation towards our ride and have a great lunch at the same time.

We would like to thank Burger World Algonquin, AARON TREMBLAY’S Pro Powerwash and Stockfish Car Star Collision for their generous donations.

Motorcycle riders, prostate cancer patients and their families, and non-riders can learn more about participating and donating by visiting www.ridefordad.ca
