The West Nipissing Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public's assistance with a theft investigation.
Sometime between September 17, 2019 and September 20, 2019, unknown culprit(s) stole a wood chipper and snowmobile trailer from a property located on Poirier Road in Lavigne, Ontario.
The wood chipper, which serves as an attachment on a farm tractor, is described as a 2019 DR PTO, Pro 475P, orange in colour and is valued at $2,000. (See attached photo)
The snowmobile trailer is described as a 1995 CERK, S96, grey in colour, bearing Ontario plate: E1539K at the time. It is valued at $1,200.
This investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft, to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
