A Nipissing Township man faces charges after an OPP RIDE stop in Powassan.
On December 26, at 9:40 p.m., officers were conducting a RIDE program when a vehicle approached.
As a result of the police investigation, Scott Chalmers, 53, of Nipissing Township, has been charged with:
- Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Driving with More than 80mg of Alcohol in Blood
Chalmers has been issued a 90-day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension, and the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
