The National Celebration of Culture Days opens with a live open-air event “Colours of the Wind” featuring outdoor exhibits by 5 local artists. The Nipissing Culture Days Committee will host the art opening and POP Up Picnic,  Saturday September 26 at 12 p.m.at the North Bay Museum outdoor area to celebrate the power of culture to bring us together during crisis and lift our spirits.

In 2019 Nipissing Culture Days energized North Bay with a multicultural parade, performances by over 50 musicians at ARTJAM, an international food festival at 176 Lakeshore and more successful and well-attended events free for all ages.

The feedback from participants and audience members was enthusiastic and inspiring. Founded in 2009, “Culture Days” is a national non-profit organization dedicated to building a national network devoted to all forms of arts and culture.

Through an annual national celebration each September, hundreds of artists and dozens of cultural organizations across Canada invite the public to participate in free activities to discover their cultural spirit and passion.

The Nipissing Culture Days Committee has more information on Facebook and online at culturedays.ca and nipissingculturedays.com. Join us for 20 local events and many more virtual experiences.
