A new music studio held its grand opening event recently.
"It was a great day with roughly 40 people coming by to try out the instruments, get their face painted, and enter a draw for a free month of lessons, " owner Victoria Hendsbee of V Music Studio told BayToday. She also teaches piano.
V Music Studio is now officially up and running with one on one lessons in piano, voice, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, banjo, saxophone, and flute.
"We are also going to be hosting group classes such as bucket drumming, theory, composition, a Halloween theremin class, a toddler class, and more," added Hendsbee.
"We have a free musician mingle event coming up on August 25 at 7 open to all adult musicians looking to play together or simply mingle and make new friends.
