The first meeting of the Near North Landlords Association will have most of the involved social agencies as special guests with the objective of creating better working relations and removing the mystery of who fits where in the process to educate members.

Guest speaker at the event is Chief Shawn Devine regarding a reduction and occasional absence of police response to issues reported.

WHAT: Near North Landlords Association

WHERE: Royal LePage Auditorium 117 Chippewa St

WHEN: Wednesday, April 11th starting at 7 p.m.

WHY: Conditions in the industry have changed drastically in recent years - not for the better. We are seeing increased regulation by government (Provincial & Municipal), a change in quality & quantity of the renter base, severely increased costs, dramatic increase in agency involvement & funding, and major mental health & addiction issues at an epidemic level.
