Happy Halloween!

The Near North Palliative Care Network (NNPCN) has launched its newest fundraising campaign – the Monster March.

It will take place on October 21 at the North Bay Museum starting from 11 a.m.

The Monster March is a blend between a walkathon and a family-fun trick-or-treat event with a $10,000 goal.

Participants will be gathering on October 21 in their best Halloween costumes to walk down Kate Pace Way toward Lee Park.

"Activities, contests, and lots of goodies will be shared during and after the walk," according to a news release. "Pets are welcome and encouraged to also be in costume. Local organizations will be present, and businesses will be invited to form teams."

Participants can register to walk for free online, gather pledges, and recruit teams with friends and family. All funds raised will directly support the NNPCN’s visiting hospice services: accredited peer-to-peer grief support, caregiver respite, palliative care, friendly visits, workshops, and client advocacy.

This event is sponsored again by North Bay Kia: the NNPCN’s new partner.
