Marina Point hosts seniors health fair

Visitors can take advantage of a free blood pressure clinic and experience Marina Point’s hand waxing treatment.

North Bay, Ontario – Marina Point will be hosting their 4th annual seniors health fair on Wednesday, November 2, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at 225 Oak Street West. “It’s a great opportunity for seniors, and their families, to check out health care services and products in North Bay,” said Becky Bosselle, Sales Coordinator at Marina Point.

Visitors can take advantage of a free blood pressure clinic and experience Marina Point’s hand waxing treatment. Organizations like the Canadian Hearing Society and the Alzheimer’s Society and specialists in hearing, podiatry and orthotics will provide health information and answer questions. Over 20 different health-related vendors and organizations will be on hand. And, there will be lots of healthy snacks, refreshments, giveaways, and chances to win prizes.

Admission and parking is free. Seniors are encouraged to come to the health fair, enjoy the atmosphere and see what Marina Point has to offer.

“At Marina Point, our goal is the preservation of seniors health and wellness,” said Bosselle, “our health fair is one way that we promote healthy living to North Bay’s seniors community.”
