A vehicle that crashed into the Cochrane OPP headquarters yesterday sent two people to the hospital...one that was in the OPP office.
It happened at approximately 6:15 p.m.
A member of the public, who was in the front lobby, suffered serious injuries and was sent to a local hospital with the Cochrane District Emergency Medical Services
The driver of the auto transport vehicle was immediately arrested and taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
Trevor Robertson, 45, of Mississippi Mills, Ontario, is charged with:
- Operation while prohibited,
- Dangerous operation causing bodily harm, and
- Operation Causing Bodily Harm.
Robertson is in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane, tomorrow to answer to the charges.
