Man charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling

The accused forced his way into his girlfriend’s residence causing damage.

Following a 911 complaint to police received shortly after midnight this morning, North Bay Police arrested and charged a 27-year old North Bay man with one count of unlawfully in dwelling.

Police say that in the early morning hours today, the accused forced his way into his girlfriend’s residence causing damage. He then left the scene on foot. The victim was not injured.

Police located, arrested and charged him shortly thereafter.

The accused, whose name the North Bay Police Service is withholding to protect the identity of the victim, was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
