Man arrested in vehicle rollover

Officers from the Powassan OPP received a complaint in the early hours yesterday of a vehicle rollover on Grahamvale Road in Chisholm Township.   

When officers arrived at scene, they began an investigation, and the driver was arrested for impaired driving. 

He was brought to the North Bay OPP Detachment for further investigation.   

As a result, Alexander Seely, 19, of Chisholm has been charged with:

  • Driving while ability impaired and
  • Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol

The driver was released on a Promise to Appear with a date to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on June 12. 

The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
