City of North Bay, Water & Wastewater Department, will be continuing a Directional Flushing Program
from Marshall Avenue to Gertrude Street and from Tweedsmuir Drive to Lakeshore Drive.
commencing Wednesday 26 August 2015 until further notice . The flushing will be done
throughout the day time hours from 08:00am to 4:00pm.
Directional Flushing of water mains is a regular maintenance program throughout all areas of the city.
Flushing may cause low water pressure and or dirty water. The water pressure will become normal once
we stop flushing in your area. If you develop discoloured or “dirty” water, once we are no longer in your
area, start running your cold water at a tap with no screen until the water clears. You may have to run water
from 30 to 60 minutes to clear the water.
